Defend Our Gun Rights
Priority: Protect our gun rights against threats, such as red flag laws, federal, state or other restrictions, by strengthening and preserving our inalienable rights under the second amendment to protect our life, liberty and property. The Texas Legislature should eliminate gun-free zones. Sub-Committee Chair Chris Byrd
Report: HB 3 (Rep. Burrows) provides for an armed security guard on school campuses. This is a good step toward eliminating gun free zones and is major headway in protecting our students. HB 3137 by Rep. Isaac also passed, which prevents counties from restricting gun rights.
